I don't think the majority of you need to get anymore facts on my spring break. I think Blondie has informed you already. Therefore I will just explain some random things that are rushing through my mind at the present time.
I currently have a four way tie for the best friends in the world they are... *drum roll please*
Gina Page, Chelsea Anderson, Tricia Olsen, and Brittney Gillespie.
My reasons for my choices are very clear and easy to guess. Number 1, they are great at planning evil schemes. Number 2, they're fun to talk to and don't treat me as I am two years old. Finally number 3, they sure do know to make me laugh and smile (although most of the time it doesn't show)
- Brittney is not a one glance at her hair kind of person for two reasons. One, she's the brightest blond I've ever met and two she doesn't judge by ones hair or by looks for that matter. She looks inside people and doesn't look for their faults, she looks for the good inside. Max Beerbohm once said,
“I need no dictionary of quotations to remind me that the eyes are the windows of the soul.”
There's much more to Brittney than just what the eye can see. She has a great personality, very intelligent, and has a strong testimony of her Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. You don't even have to see the twinkle in her eye to feel her presence. Her testimony glows through no matter what the situation maybe. She's not the type of person you meet and just forget. She makes her mark and even in some cases a dent which continues with you. (Don't let the camel in.) - Chelsea reeeeeeally knows how to bug THE HECK OUT OF ME! Her stories and ideas are often VERY REPETITIVE! It's always fun to count how many times she uses the same story of how she had the roommate who..., college stories in general, or the "when Jill and Allison were your age" stories. Forgetful as she maybe, she always seems to make things interesting no matter how many times you hear it. Her great communication skills make people feel at easy talking to her and listening to what she has to say. Questions are always answered with easy and you're never left hanging. She always seems to know just what to say and how to say it. Loretta Young once said,
“Listening is more than just a very rewarding habit. After awhile you discover what a world of information you can gain from hearing what others say, and If you're interested, you're interesting. All the most popular people are good listeners.”
She can find the hand of Lord in just about anything she sees whether it be the most uplifting day of prayer and revelation or a day of exhaustion with her kids. (Where did you get the idea i wanted to keep you guys young?) - Gina,Gina,Gina, you know I can't believe I pretty much wasted all that time I had with you. From the achievement days stuff (BORING) to the chorister in primary all wasted because I was longing for the future and yet now that it's here I'm longing for the past. All that time I could have spent getting to know you better was used trying to get as far from primary as possible. I'm starting to realize what people talk about when they say "I was so young and to blind to see the mistakes I was making." Although you sing low and away from the microphone, you still manage to project your voice. Your love for your Savior and your understanding of music helped me in many ways learn and grow. I believe that you have a limitless potential because of your strong mind and endurance to overcome the obstacles that stand in your way. Much like your cleaning skills you really know how to tackle things. You plan to pursue and pounce like a lion. Remember, the lionesses hunt not the male lion. You always have a smirk (notice not a smile but a smirk) and a spring your step. As Thomas Carlyle stated it,
“Wondrous is the strength of cheerfulness, and its power of endurance - the cheerful man will do more in the same time, will do it better, will preserve it longer, than the sad or sullen.”
In my short time with you, you should me how much I hate arts and crafts and organization although I am quite organized in everything other than cleaning my room. (coming in with pretensions for singing time and the activities for achievement days were totally jam packed with plans every week. crazy business majors.) - Tricia, my texting buddy, I don't think I could count how many random facts I know about you alone. I'm not a stalker,I just do allot of research. I find that the more background I have on a person and the more I understand peoples past my knowledge of the present thrives. You can't fully understand Constantinople/Istanbul's history without understanding the history of the Roman Empire. :) So, in my defense I'm not stalking you I research not stalk. (Stop looking over your shoulder I'm not there.) :p Tricia, every word uttered from your mouth is spoken in the tone which sounds loving, kind, and gentle. Even though your gossiping problem needs a bit of work your over all mood comes directly from your speech. It's always nice to hear clean cut vowels instead of a slur sound that I hear ever so often from my peers. Kent Nerburn once said,
“Remember to be gentle with yourself and others. We are all children of chance and none can say why some fields will blossom while others lay brown beneath the August sun. Care for those around you. Look past your differences. Their dreams are no less than yours, their choices no more easily made. And give, give in any way you can, of whatever you posses. To give is to love. To withhold is to wither. Care less for your harvest than for how it is shared and your life will have meaning and your heart will have peace.” Tricia, you make things blossom by your gentle words which make your calling helping children bloom perfect for you. I know, because you have helped me.
My mom was asking me what I liked about you guys and I wasn't quite sure at first. After much consideration that is what I found that I think of you individually. But as for you as a whole my mom threw in two words that I actually in someway believe to be true. You are the kind of women that I inspire to become. A person who provides a positive example of conducting research at the highest standards could be called a role model. I do believe that those two words are appropriate. You are women of great faith and obedience to the Lord. As much as I hate to admit this because you can hang it over my head for the rest of my life it is true. You have admirable traits and characteristics that show me the way I want to live some, from me to Sister Olsen, 12 years, from me to Sister Page,13 years, from me to Sister Gillespie,15 years, and from me to Sister Anderson, 16 years down the road. (but not all of your traits like not the book reading, curly and blond hair, and the God given pipes)
Thanks for all the fun guys.

I followed the link from Britneys blog. I lived across the street from Britney in Gardendale.
The words you expressed of each of the wonderful ladies leave me speechless. God created each of them in a special way. I am greatly impressed at your maturity to recognize and desire the great characteristics that each of them exhibit.
