Guess Who's Back?

For those you who said Shady your wrong.
My knee is back (kind of).
We ran the mile today for my 9 weeks test and my time was 7 minutes and 4 seconds.
I wasn't really supposed to run it any way but I guess I bugged my teacher enough to let me run.
: )
Although me knee was hurting me like mess,I finished it.
I have a lot of work to do though. Before I messed up my knee I could run the mile in 5 minutes and 2 seconds.

  • Before 5:02
  • After physical therapy 9:07
  • Now 7 :04

I messed up my knee two years ago and everyone says it will never be near the same even with surgery.I am determined to show those dumb doctors wrong. My knee will be better than before.I want to be able to play sports again and I think I am of to a pretty good start. I only have 2 minutes and 2 seconds to cut down.No wonder I got the Physical Fitness Award for the 7th grade Girls!!!

Hey... I know that you can do it. 2 min & 2 seconds is a good goal! Keep working at it but don't strain to hard all at once.

orla, get a new doctor. your knee will be just fine. all sorts of miracles happening in the orthopedic/physical therapy section. don't quit sports. you have the talent to be an all-star soccer player. anyway, don't give up! (i ran the mile in 7:20 in 8th grade.) maybe after i have the baby we could have a race.

I love your "never give up" attitude!!! Sports are the best thing! I am so glad you are so excited about soccer. I can't wait to hear when you beat your old time!
